To be honest I am really shocked to see this!

Horrible to hear how the cameras are clicking away and clearly annoying James!  On top of that one of the idiots says 'thank you' to James????

Blimey, thank you for what?  For not getting hit in the face?

It was obvious Jams did not like their presence nor their behavior!  But apparently not that obvious for these paps as the vid continuous with the same thing, perhaps a day or so later?

I really wonder what kind of excuses these people use to constantly chase, annoy and violate someones privacy!

They should be really proud of themselves and their jobs! NOT!

Personally I am grateful that I don't live in a country where pap's and made up stories seem like 'something normal'!  A few months ago, a foreign photographer was arrested over here because he thought it was okay to camp outside a popular actor's door and to take pictures of him and his family without permission.  That guy called our journalists and photographers "retarded"!  Well: best compliment ever I guess!  At least they don't lower themselves to this gutter level!

@ Paloma: no offence to you though for posting this vid!  I guess once the vid is out there on the internet, the damage is done already.  I am just shocked to witness these pap's behavior!

I remember case of Bon Jovi when paparazzi finally managed to picture him with a young pretty lady. The headlines in the newspapers screamed that he is unfaithful to his wife... the girl on the photos was actually his oldest daughter and photographer was sued for intrusion to private life 

Since that case any private photos or videos of Bon Jovi are rarely leaked online. Perhaps sometimes patience is not helping to protect privacy

Indeed lith, I wonder why most other countries don't seem to have laws to protect the privacy of people (whether they are well-known or not) as we do!  It would sure make the pap's job a lot more difficult or even impossible!  But that is probably another topic!

I would like if those who posts videos may put a short caption so to inform us of where it's from. Can we have this as some kind of rule? Because i don't want to see those taken from paparazi.

I may be eager for information sometimes but i prefer to wait longer for some that is released willingly.  

Same for me: always nice to see some information, pictures or vids of James, unless they are produced by these paps! I don't need to see their stuff either!

James Blunt auf Ibiza

Der Engländer hat hier mittlerweile seine Heimat gefunden. Der 38-jährige liebt die Atmosphäre der Insel. Wenn er nicht mit seiner Band auf Tour ist, dann findet er hier seine Ruhe, schreibt hier seine Texte und entspannt im Norden von Ibiza.

"Es ist ein phantastischer Ort, bekannt für seine Clubs und die Musikszene. Ich liebe es, ein Teil davon zu sein. Ibiza ist eine Insel mit unterschiedlichen Gesichtern. Die Ruhe des Nordens, das mediterrane Flair, die hippe Bewegung, die hier in den 60ern ankam, die spanischen Wurzeln, all das macht diese Insel zu einem so wundervollen Ort."

Der Durchbruch zum Musiker gelang James Blunt 2006 mit seinem Song "Your are beautiful". Mit diesem Lied schaffte er es sogar auf Platz 1 der US-Charts und erfüllte sich einen Kindheitstraum. Denn schon mit 14 Jahren wollte der Sohn eines englischen Soldaten Musiker werden.

"Ich kann mich mit Musik gut ausdrücken. Sie ist meine Leidenschaft. Sie ist meine Art als zurückhaltender Engländer, Gefühle zu zeigen."

James Blunt lebt sehr zurückgezogen. Sein Privatleben hält er aus der Öffentlichkeit raus. Er möchte kein Star sein. Ihm ist es unangenehm, überall erkannt und angesprochen zu werden. Der einzige Ort, an dem er sich wirklich wohlfühlt, ist die Bühne, wenn er die Leute mit seiner Musik begeistern kann.

"Ich finde aber nicht, dass man Musiker auf einen Thron stellen sollte. Ich bin kein Arzt, der Leben rettet, kein Lehrer, der Wissen vermittelt oder ein Entwicklungshelfer, der Länder wieder aufbaut. Ich bin aber glücklich, dass ich etwas machen darf, das ich liebe und andere Menschen erfreut."

Als Kind hat James Blunt mit seinen Eltern auch in Deutschland gelebt. Sein Vater war als Soldat in NRW stationiert, eine Zeit, an die er sich sehr gern zurück erinnert.

"Ich habe zwei Jahre in Soest gelebt. Es war wirklich eine sehr spezielle Zeit in meiner Kindheit. Wir haben in einer sehr speziellen Gegend am Möhnesee gelebt. Unser Garten lag direkt am See. Im Sommer konnten wir dort schwimmen und segeln und im Winter haben wir auf dem See Einhockey gespielt."

Zurzeit hat sich James Blunt auf Ibiza zurückgezogen. Der 38-jährige war gerade ein Jahr auf Welttournee und nimmt sich momentan eine kleine Auszeit, um dann wieder an neuen Texten zu arbeiten. Denn schon im nächsten Jahr will der Vollblutmusiker seine Fans wieder mit neuen Songs begeistern.
