Asmina if you google White Light, I think it's called, George Michael, you might get to hear the song that way rather than going through the link.  I think it's one of his best!  George grew up about 5 miles from where I am now sitting.  He's had a few problems himself with the paparazzi but tends to express all of his mediterranean tempermanent rather than control himself, in the past anyway, and has got into trouble a few times with the authorities.  I agree with what you said about his music, he has the perfect pitch, tone and lyrical quality as well as some great material.  I think we tend to contrast and compare musicians, that's only natural, but it's possible to appreciate many musicians in their individual ways, to see their unique contribution without lessening anyone else's credibility, if you know what I mean?  Susan x

I just googled George's 2012 tour, he will be in Europe this autumn as well as the UK, the tickets seem very expensive starting at about 60-70.

I am wishing George Michael better. Apparently he had to pull out of a tour in Australia due to PTSD.

He had pneumonia and nearly died last year hence the latest song white light, which was presumably about his encounter with the other side.

In this video you can see the reaction of a large crowd that is similar to James and other musicians around the world.

I think it's evidence of a higher power that takes over in a concert venue. I am posting it to help understand what the power is, it's not individual, it's transcendent.

Thanks Leemehl, yes that is part of it, it is transcendent.

The crowd experiences it with George in the same way as with James and other musicians.

Liking a person's music doesn't mean you have to like the person.

You like the professional product : - the lighting, the visual effects, the sound production et al.

I read about his new album Symphonica and went to the Saturn shop yesterday to listen to the short trails on the deluxe album. I was in his Symphonica show here in the O2 world in Berlin and it was absolutely amazing, undescribable beautiful. He is a really great Artist and can act with his voice. You could have heard a fixing pin fall on the ground during some of his Songs in the hall. The Sound was brilliant - and this in the O2 world, where I made some very bad experiences in the past.
But my first listen to this album could not bring my feelings back I had during his live show. Maybe I have to give the Album a second Chance at home. My expectations were linked to much with my Feelings.
This is the worse - I am sometimes a too sentimental and romantic Person who feels toooooo much.

George Michael will have to excuse our excursion to James Blunt in this column.
Lee, the sound was good - but the sound of a J.B. concert is always good even in the O2 world Berlin. His sound technicians do a real professional job. Beside his band members - HE should thank them and Brian and his lighting technicians in the end of every show for doing a very well job continuously.
About James and the show there was written something in the column Live gigs - Berlin 03.03.2014.
